San cristobal - Santa Cruz
4 Days - 3 Nights Itinerary

DAY 1: Fly to Galapagos Airport and to the airport in San Cristobal Island, where you will be received by our staff. We will be transported to the hotel on our buses, located just 5 minutes from the Puerto Baquerizo Moreno Airport.
After this, we will make our first visit to the Interpretation Center, where the route facilities take us through the history of the islands in their natural, human and conservation contexts.
Soon after we will return to the hotel to have our lunch. In the afternoon, we will visit Playa Mann located just 10 minutes from the Port. Here we will enjoy this beautiful white sand beach, formed by the fragmentation of shells; the clarity of its waters allows us to enjoy snorkeling. We return to our hotel for dinner and rest.

DAY 2: After breakfast, we will go on our transportation to El Progreso, a place that keeps enigmatic stories of the first people of this island, such as Manuel J Cobos. Also, we will visit the sugar factory, which was worked by inmates.
Then we will move to the Laguna El Junco located at 700 meters above sea level. This freshwater lagoon, unique in its kind in the archipelago; here we will see an amazing landscape and you can admire some of the Galapagos birds such as: gulls, blue and red footed boobies, Galapagos finches and more.
We will also visit La Galapaguera, where will observe the famouse giant tortoises, which are much different from those of Santa Cruz Island, mainly on their shells.
We will take a short lunch break prior to heading over to Playa La Loberia where we can see a large colony of sea lions, birds and enjoy a refreshing swim, snorkeling and sun bathing at this beach.
An optional hiking trail leads you to visit blue-footed boobies, frigate birds, marine iguanas and sea turtles. We end our day by returning to our hotel for dinner.

DAY 3: After breakfast, we will navigate to Santa Cruz Island - Puerto Ayora and check in at the Piedras Blanca Lodge. Soon after, we will visit the Charles Darwin Station, Fausto Llerena Breeding Center, Visitors Center Miguel Cifuentes, and the Community Center of Environmental Education. At these places we can see land iguanas and the turtles breeding center, among other activities.
We then head back to the hotel for lunch. Soon after we'll visit the famous Tortuga Bay Beach, one of the largest white sand zones of the archipelago; this is an excelent place for swimming and walking on sand. We will also see marine iguanas, sharks and turtles along a small path for visitors. We return to our hotel for dinner.

DAY 4: After breakfast at the hotel, we will have our end-visit to Los Crateres Gemelos, the ideal place for taking wonderful pictures. AFterwards we will go to Baltra Airport and take our return flight to Quito or Guayaquil.

View 5 Day / 4 Night Itinerary Details

DAY 1: Fly to Galapagos Airport and to the airport in San Cristobal Island, where you will be received by our naturalist's guides and will take us inside a private transfer to the ECO-Hotel Arena Blanca, located just 5 minutes from the airport. We enjoy our lunch and after this we will make our first tour visit to the Interpretation Center, where the route facilities take us through the history of the islands in their natural, human and conservation contexts.
In the afternoon we will visit Playa Mann located 10 minutes from Puerto Baquerizo Moren, enjoy this beautiful white-sand beach formed by the fragmentation of shells. The clarity of the water allos us for enjoy some snorkeling activity. We end our day by returning to our hotel for dinner.

DAY 2: After breakfast, we will go visit Cerro Tijeras. Here we will observe frigate birds nesting. Also, we will find three spectacular viewpoints: First we go take pictures at a site where remnants from World War II still remain; Second place to observe the famous site Leon Dormido; Third viewpoint, we will visit the site where an imposing statue of the scientist Charles Darwin is on display. We end our morning back at the hotel for lunch.
In the afternoon we will visit Playa La Loberia where we can see a large colony of sea lions, birds and of course, enjoy a refreshing swim and snorkel activity at this beach. You can also go hiking along a trail, where you can see blue-footed boobies, frigate birds, marine iguanas and sea turtles.

DAY 3: After breakfast, we will encjoy a wonderful experience going by yacht to Santa Cruz Island - Puerto Ayora, where we will stay for the rest of the tours. Here we will make our visit to the Charles Darwin Station, Fausto Llerena Center, Miguel Cifuentes Visitors Center and the Community Environmental Education Center - where we can see land iguanas and the turtles breeding center. We then head back to the hotel for lunch.
In the afternoon, we will visit Las Grietas; this landscape is formed by lava fissures forming two gian walls pierced by an arm of bracking water filtered from the top, where it mixes with seawater. This place is ideal for walking, swimming and to get fabulous pictures. Afterwards, we go back to the hotel and have dinner.

DAY 4: Enjoy breakfast at the hotel. In the morning we visit the Highlands in Santa Cruz. The first point to check is Lost Gemelos (The Twins), located at 864 meters above sea level (these are two crater holes created as a result of the collapse of the land surface). Here you can photograph endemic birds, especially the woodpecker finch; this place is covered by a forest of Scalesia.
During your visit you will also enter the tunnel and continue to the Rancho Primicia where you can see giant tortoises in their habitat. In the afternoon after luch, we will visit the famouse Turtle Bay Beach, which is one of the largest white sand beach of the archipelago where we can enjoy some swimming and walking; marine iguana, sharks and turtles can be seen along a small path for visitors. Return to our hotel for dinner.

DAY 5: Breakfast at the hotel and then we will take our shuttle to the airport in Baltra Island and take our flight to Quito or Guayaquil.

View 8 Day / 7 Night Itinerary Details

DAY 1: We fly in to Galapagos and arrive at the San Cristobal Island Airport, where we will be received by our naturalist guide who will take us to our hotel via private transport. After this, we will visit the Interpretation Center, where the route facilities take us through the history of the islands in the natural, human and conservation contexts.
Later on, after enjoying lunch at our hotel, we will visit Playa Mann, located just 10 minutes from Puerto Baquerizo Moreno, to enjoy the beautiful white sand beach formed from the fragmentation of sea shells. The clarity of the water allos us for snorkeling activity, and afterwards we go back to the hotel for dinner. Accommodation in San Cristobal.

DAY 2: After breakfast we will visit Tijeras Hill, which is a place where you can see 2 species of frigates: Royal and Common, blue Footed Boobies and Pelicans. You can also see endemic and native vegetation at this site. We will enjoy a 2.5km hike along a trail, in which you will see three main viewpoints, in which you can observe the Island, the Geological Formations and Kicker Rock. Lunch at the hotel.
In the afternoon we will visit Playa La Loberia, where we can see a large colony of sea lions, birds and of course enjoy a refreshing swim and snorkeling activity at this beach. You can also go hiking along a trail where you can see blue-footed boobies, frigate birds, marine iguanas and sea turtles.
We end our day with dinner at our hotel. Accommodation in San Cristobal.

DAY 3: In the morning after breakfast, we will enjoy a wonderful experience by riding a yacht to Playa Manglecito, perfect for various recreational activities and landscapes. Some activities include swimming, walks, snorkeling, surfing and watching endemic flora & fauna.
Then we will take a boat to Leon Dormido, als known as Kicker Rock; a rock formation of eroded tuff-cone, this is a refuge for many wildlife like the blue-footed boobies, phaetons and even sea lions.
We will have lunch on board, and later after a short cruise, we'll head back to the hotel and have dinner. Accommodation in San Cristobal.

DAY 4: After breakfast, we will enjoy a wonderful experience going by yacht to the island of Santa Cruz - Puerto Ayora, where we will stay for all daily activities. Here we will make our visit to the Charles Darwin Station, Fausto Llerena Center, Miguel Cifuentes Visitors Center and the Community Environmental Education Center where we can see land iguanas and the Turtle Breeding Center.
Then back tot he hotel and have lunch. In the afternoon after lunch we will visit the famous Tortuga Bay Beach, which is one of the largest white sand beaches of the archipelago. This is an excellent place for swimming and walking. We will also get a chance to see marine iguanas, sharks and turtles along a small for visitors to enjoy. We go to our hotel for dinner. Accommodation in Santa Cruz.

DAY 5: Breakfast at the hotel. In the morning we will visit the Highlands in Santa Cruz. The first point at this location is Los Gemelos (The Twins) crater holes, located at 864 meters above sea level. These were created as a result of the collapse of the land's surface. This location is ideal for photographing endemic birds, especially the woodpecker finch. This place is covered by a forest of Scalesia. The next spot is the Lava Tunnels, where we'll enter this amazing landmark.
We return to our hotel for lunch, and soon after we will sail to Isabela Island, where we will visit the Poza de los Flamingos which is a lagoon located along the road leading from Puerto Villamil to the famous Wall of Tears; it is one of the main sites of observation and reproduction of Flamingos. Dinner at Puerto Villamil. Accommodation in Isabela.

DAY 6: After breakfast we will go on a short walk to the Sierra Negra Volcano, located on the edge fumarole southwest; it lasts about six hours. We will eat a buxed lunch in route and in the afternoon we'll visit the Concha Perla site. This area is structured as a kind of circular concavity being fed by the sea with the changing tides. This site is ideal for swimming and snorkeling. Return to hotel and dinner. Accommodation in Isabela.

DAY 7: We will navigate to Santa Cruz Island - Puerto Ayora, check in to our hotels and eat breakfast. You will have the morning free until lunch time. Soon after eating, we will visit Las Grietas; this landscape is formed by lava fissures forming two gint walls pierced by an arm of bracking water filtered from the top, where it mixes with seawter.
At this place, you will have to wear appropriate clothing: swimwear on, sneakers, shorts, sunscreen, water, hat and camera/camcorder. Here we will enjoy walking, swimming and photography moments. Dinner at the hotel's restaurant. Accommodation in Santa Cruz.

DAY 8: Breakfast at the hotel and then we will go to Baltra Airport and take our return flight to Quito or Guayaquil.
